10 Television Shows Rolando ‘Baby Joker’ Molina Appeared In Since His Role On Next Friday

Rolando Alberto Argueta-Molina had been acting over a decade before the role that he’s become most synonymous with. The El Salvador native got his start in Hollywood in the late 80s before his break-out role as Baby Joker in 2000’s Next Friday. Baby Joker was one of the stand out characters in Next Friday. He was the brother of Joker, Lil Joker and Karla. In one scene, Baby Joker appeared annoyed when his sister, Karla appeared to be flirting with Craig and unleashed his dog Chiko on Craig and Day Day. Let’s take a look at ten television shows he’s been a part of since then.

The same year that Next Friday dropped, Molina had several television roles on primetime. He guested on Judging Amy, where he played Mark Vasquez in the 2000 episode “Spoil The Child.”

He followed this up by joining Alyssa Milano and company on Charmed. There he played Hernandez in the 2000 episode “Reckless Abandon.” Molina would then score a guest spot on 7th Heaven as a juror in the episode “Twelve Angry People. He had a role in 2001 on Walker Texas Ranger, where he played Randy Drago in the episode “Without a Sound.”

Rolando Molina acted opposite Damon Wayans, and Tisha Campbell is a pretty popular episode of My Wife & Kids in 2002. Titled “Table for Too Many,” Molina played a strict valet parking attendant who made sure Damon paid the $7 fee to park at a restaurant. The hilarious scene ended in Molina only moving the car 2 feet after Tisha’s character got annoyed and paid him herself because Damon was unhappy with the prices. He would return later in the sequel episode “Table for too Many” Part 2, where he would taunt Damon Wayans’ Michael again when he came back out to retrieve his car after dinner.

Molina was part of the cast of the soap opera General Hospital in 2008, where he acted as Sal Del Torro. He was in 7 episodes that year and considered main cast for the season.

In 2009 he had a role on the Jada Pinkett-Smith vehicle Hawthorne. There he played Brian on an episode titled “The Sense of Belonging.” That same year he also appeared in Heroes as a motel clerk and Meteor as a Mexican Trucker.

In 2010, Molina got a role on the hit television series Desperate Housewives. He played Hector Sanchez opposite Eva Longoria. Their storyline revealed that he was the biological daughter of Longoria’s character’s adopted daughter. He appeared on two episodes; “The Thing That Counts Is What’s Inside” & “Sorry Grateful.”

Rolando Molina appeared in a 2011 episode of Sons of Anarchy where he acted as Benny in the episode titled “Una Venta.”

Molina’s history with American Dad dates back to 2007 when he first played Mex in an episode titled “Haylias.” He returned as Mex in 2009’s “Wife Insurance” before playing a few other roles over the years. This included Fernando Jaramillo in 2016 and Meth Lab Guy in 2018.

Show creator Seth Macfarland is definitely a fan of Molina’s because he also had him doing some voices on his other series Family Guy. Between 2014 and 2018, Molina voiced several characters on the hit cartoon show. He did the voice of Tony Montana in a cutaway from 2014’s “Secondhand Spoke.” Since then, he’s portrayed a cellmate in 2015’s “A Shot in the Dark,” a drug dealer in 2017’s “Dearly Deported,” and another valet driver in “Boy (Dog) Meets Girl (Dog).” In all, He’s guested in 6 episodes.

Molina made a guest appearance on HBO’s critically acclaimed Shameless. In the 2016 episode titled “Happily Ever After,” he played a character named Jesus. Ironically enough, he played another character named Jesus that same year in the project Murder in The Woods.

2016 was a major year for Molina because, in addition to roles in Rizzoli & Isles, Code Black, and The League, he also got a chance to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Molina appeared in the series Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D as Santino Noguera, the former leader of the Fifth Street Locos. In the series, his character was caught up in some rough circumstances and was in the middle of trying to reform his ways before being killed by the comic book character Ghost Rider in a prison riot.

Molina’s latest role as Sal in Underwater Upside Down is currently in post-production with no release date. His last role was last year in the series Animal Kingdom where he played Pete Trujillo Sr.
