Actress Nia Long Spotted For First Time In Los Angeles Since Move To Boston Without Engagement Ring

Nia Long has the full might of her fanbase by her side after the recent cheating scandal that threatens to end her relationship with fiancé and baby daddy Ime Udoka. Long has been getting support from everyone, with many uplifting her and rallying for her to bounce back and find a man who deserves and appreciates her. Long seems to be prepping for just that, and was recently spotted in Los Angeles by TMZ, looking like she is ready for a new life and energy.

In the wake of Ime’s cheating scandal, many have wondered how he could cheat on the beloved actress who has been a Hollywood darling for decades. Nia Long was many people’s first crush and continues to be a beauty icon for the black community. Ime released a statement following the incident hitting the news cycle. In it, he addresses how his consensual relationship with a female staffer had cost him the season as the Celtics head coach.

“I want to apologize to our players, fans, the entire Celtics organization, and my family for letting them down,” Ime Udoka said. “I am sorry for putting the team in this difficult situation, and I accept the team’s decision. Out of respect for everyone involved, I will have no further comment.” This was the only statement Udoka has made to date.

Days following the news, Boston Celtics announced Udoka had been suspended, with many believing that even more serious consequences will befall him as the rest of the information gets out. Some sites allege he is a serial cheater and was in an “open relationship” with Nia, but this has not been confirmed. The head coach only served one year with the Boston Celtics that led them to the championship in 2021.

As for Long, her only statement was brief and geared towards her and her children’s privacy. She thanked everyone for their support and asked for prayers as she and her family dealt with things privately. The outpouring of love and support from family, friends and the community during this difficult time means so much to me,” the actress said.

Nia and Ime have two kids, Kez Sunday Udoka and Massai Zhivago Dorsey II. Long has returned to Los Angeles although we’re unsure if she has relocated or visiting following her move to Boston. TMZ recently spotted the actress outside in West Hollywood with her son, Kez.

While she remained coy talking with TMZ, the news outlet noticed some clear signs in her response that she might not be looking to save her relationship after all. She initially responded that she had no desire to comment but then laughed when asked if they were “working things out.” They also noticed she was no longer wearing her ring, and she rushed into her car quickly to get away. Her son Kev remained quiet.
