Amber Rose found herself back in the headlines today after fans decided to resurface old tweets relating to Kanye West and the Kardashian women. To say Amber has a complicated history with them is an understatement, but it appears she is not a fan of people trying to reignite years old beef. Amber took to her IG to put this story to rest and let people know that she is no longer losing sleep over Kanye.
Amber Rose was introduced to the world by West back in the late ’00s. At the time, she was already making a name for herself, popping up in music videos for everyone from Ludacris to Young Jeezy and Nicki Minaj. West took an interest in her bold look and loud personality and quickly roped her in to become his muse.
The pair become a mainstay on red carpets and magazine covers before breaking up. Rose would go on to date, marry and have a child with Wiz Khalifa, while Kanye would famously go on to start his family with Kim Kardashian. In 2015, Kanye spoke on Amber during a Breakfast Club interview, stating that his wife Kim made him take “30 showers” before they could get together. The interview did not sit well with Rose, who took to Twitter to vent. She took the “high road,” saying she would let the “KarTRASHians” humiliate West, insinuating that the famous family was going to do to him what he did to her.
Rose was not wrong, and West has continued to spiral in years since most recently losing his wife and family in the process. Fans seemed to feel the same, which is why they resurfaced this tweet over the weekend. One responded, “Amber made a viable prediction now here we are 7 years later!”

Despite his very clear bout with karma, Amber is not interested in being associated with the negativity anymore. When she caught wind of the Tweet going viral, she took to her IG story to let fans know how she currently feels.
While Amber says she never got an apology for the “30 showers” comment, she used the shaming to start her annual “Walk” and help women across the world dealing with misogyny, bullying and shaming. She apologized to the KarDASHian sisters, saying they did not deserve the tweet, nor should her fans co-sign it. Amber, who is now a mother of two, just wants to keep the peace and continue to uplift other women. “Moving forward…learn from my mistakes,” the video vixen continued. “We all have kids and family’s life is hard enough right now for a lot of ppl. I just want to spread love and positivity.”
While Amber Rose did not start the S-Walk movement, she did make a point to bring more visibility and awareness to it following West’s comments on her. She did her first version of it in 2016 in Downtown Los Angeles Pershing Square.
