On the occasion of International Mother Language Day, a special program will be aired on Bangladesh Television BTV. Ekushey’s morning ferry will be broadcast live from the central Shaheed Minar at 8:30 am. The special program ‘Ekush means not bowing down’ will be promoted. Soumitra Shekhar will present. Rafiqul Islam and Syed Hasan Imam will take part in the discussion. Sangeeta Chowdhury will recite. It will be broadcast at 1:30 pm.

The program organized by the International Mother Language Institute will be broadcast live at 3 pm. The concert ‘Ekusher Gaan’ with marginal artists. The program ‘Ekusher Gaan’ has been arranged with 6 basic songs written by famous lyricists of the country. The music will be performed by 7 newly listed marginal artists. Maqsood Jamil Mintu is the director of melody and music. Presentation Afrin Athai. It will be broadcast on this day at 6:20 pm.

‘Bangla Amar Parichay’ is a talk show with the participation of poets on the poetry of Ekushey February. Presented by poet Nurul Huda, the show is produced by Mahfuzar Rahman. Poet Kamal Chowdhury, Asad Mannan, Habibullah Siraj, Tariq Sujat, Rokeya Ruby Khatun and Zahid Mostafa took part in the program. It will be broadcast at 7 pm.

Ekushey’s special play ‘Ujjwal of Andharkathi’ written on the spirit of liberation war and language movement. The play stars Mahmud Sajjad, Sharmili Ahmed, Shahiduzzaman Selim, Sayem Samad, Sangeeta Chowdhury, Tahiya Hossain, Sushmoy Saha. It will be broadcast on February 21 at 9 pm.

The special program ‘Itihas Kotha Kay’ will be broadcast on February 21 at 10:20 pm. The program highlights the language movement of 1952. Where Madhusudan (Madhuda) is the owner of the then Madhur Canteen, who is now sitting in a tea shop describing the language movement. Some parts of the song, dance and grave drama have been highlighted in the description. Bangabandhu’s role in the language movement has been highlighted through this program. The play stars Shahadat Hossain, Ramiz Raju, Sajjad Saju, Dipa and others. Oryada Rehab and her team took part in the dance. Music was performed by Apu Aman, Sharmin, Laila, Monir, Parvez, Swaralipi, Russell Shefali. Professor Rafiqul Islam and Professor Anwar Hossain took part in the discussion. Produced by Abu Touhid.
