Ayesha Curry Tired Of People Disrespecting Her Marriage

Ayesha Curry is known for having no filter when it comes to checking people on social media. The basketball wife stands up for herself, her husband, and her businesses whenever questioned by hecklers, which seems to be way too often. Unfortunately, many take her as an easy target, which never works out well for them. Case in point, a recent “fan” who decided to grill Ayesha about rumors that she and Steph have opened up their marriage to other people.

Open marriages are when couples consent to seeing other people. Some do it for intimate reasons, others for emotional. Recently rapper Joey Badass suggested that Tristan Thompson ask Khloe Kardashian for an open relationship since he clearly cannot commit to one woman. Other famous instances of open relationships include Monique and her husband, Sydney Hick, who have been practicing it for years. Nick Cannon and his various baby mothers are a version of this as well, as it seems like he’s allowed to come and go as he pleases. Most recently, Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith admitted to opening things up with Jada dating August Alsina and Will reportedly seeing his Suicide Squad co-star Margot Robbie.

With this becoming the norm in Hollywood, it’s understandable that rumors of different couples opening up their relationships would emerge. Ayesha and Steph were the latest, with reports surfacing a few weeks back that she had asked her NBA husband if they could bring other people into their marriage. An unknown source reposted by The Jasmine Brand back in December said, “I have it on good authority that this well-known NBA couple aren’t as faithful in love as their social media and image make them out to be! They both have side hookups and flings but keep it very private to keep up the perfect family image they show to the world. I was shocked to learn they’ve been together for so long.”

While the source did not explicitly name the Curry’s, some assumed it was them as rumors had been circulating about them looking into a divorce after being at odds over a furniture line that Ayesha launched last year. The story got so big that even MSN reposted it with the caption, “Ayesha and Steph Curry have an open marriage with side hookups.” Some believed this could be true, sighting the Red Table Talk conversation where Ayesha admitted to wishing more men would express their attraction to her outside of her marriage. “The Steph and Ayesha Curry rumors about them having a open relationship makes sense. Yall must of forgot what she said on the Red Table Talk with Jada.”

Well, Ayesha is here to put the speculation to rest. The loving wife reposted an image from husband Steph’s latest GQ cover. In the picture, Steph poses on a balcony overlooking the water in a cream sweatsuit with an oversized brown coat. A fan decided this picture was the perfect time to question the Curry’s about the stories surrounding their marriage. To the woman’s surprise, Ayesha Curry had time today. The basketball wife and entrepreneur shut down the rumors also demanding the unidentified woman put some respect on her marriage.

Over on the Shaderoom, followers supported Ayesha, pointing out how unnecessary and rude the comment was. This is not the first time Ayesha has let someone have it. While on vacation back in 2020, someone hopped in her comments, saying, “Steph married to an actual real-life farm animal.” Ayesha agreed with them, declaring that she was a “GOAT,” which is a farm animal but also an acronym for greatest of all time.

In 2019, Ayesha Curry took to her Instagram to announce a partnership with Spotify. “What’s the soundtrack to your life?” she asked fans. A jerk responded, “Stay in the kitchen,” which promoted an immediate response from her. “Which one? SF, Houston, Miami, or San Diego?” she clapped back. Curry has restaurants in all four of those cities.
