At just 18-years-old, Bhad Bhabie (real name Danielle Bregoli) has accomplished a lot. At what cost is debatable depending on who you ask. Bhad Bhabie’s introduction to the world came in 2016 via the Dr. Phil show. The out-of-control teenager would forever be known as the “Cash Me Outside” girl from that moment. This was only the start for Bhad Bhabie.
Soon, Bhad Bhabie became a rapper, as Atlantic Records signed her to their roster. The years to follow would bring a slew of singles, some of which charted on Billboard and were certified either Gold or Platinum. Her popularity would only rise, especially on Snapchat and other social media platforms. But the more Bhad Bhabie became visible, the more controversy would surround the Florida native. There would be numerous accounts of various altercations with different artists and social media personalities such as Woah Vicky and Iggy Azalea.
The rapper and social media influencer’s image is also a racy one. Bhad Bhabie’s unapologetic expression of freedom in both her music and image has led her to be often criticized both on and off social media. Due to her small frame, Bhad Bhabie has also shared that she is a constant target for trolls. Following many attacks on social media, Bhad Bhabie shared a message of her own to both her detractors and those who are also go through the same criticism.
Under a selfie, Bhad Bhabie directed her message to all women of different shapes and sizes. Whether you’re naturally big or small, the rapper shared that someone will always have something negative to say. She also brings light to the effects that the commentary can likely have on someone’s mental health, causing them to make changes to themselves. Even then, Bhad Bhabie expresses that people will still criticize.
The “Miss Understood” rapper then shifts and offers words of encouragement to her followers who have been subjected to body shaming. “Don’t ever let ppl get to you,” Bhad Bhabie wrote. “You are your own person and you control how you feel about yourself never let another person determine your confidence and how you feel about yourself […] love yourself no matter what ppl have to say.”
Bhad Bhabie’s confidence clearly has gotten her to many heights and new levels. Earlier this year, the rapper launched an OnlyFans account and reportedly generated $1 million in just 6 hours. The controversial move brought on backlash toward her, but Bhad Bhabie was unphased. The rapper told Inked magazine in a conversation pertaining to her decision to join the platform, “Since I was young, I’ve been called names and told that I’m doing this and that. I thought, ‘You know what, I might as well make money from it.’”
Although small in frame, Bhad Bhabie has also shared pictures that have had some of her followers accusing her of having work done for years. While she still hasn’t revealed if anything has been done, a recent post from Bhad Bhabie is stirring the conversation once more. On October 4th, Bhad Bhabie uploaded a TikTok that went viral, a norm for the rapper. This time, however, it was because she looked noticeably different. The rapper is seen with a different hair color than usual, and her makeup has many fans drawing comparisons to an “off-brand Cardi B.” Check out the video below.
