In a season that’s already revealed August to be a struggling single father to his three nieces, the singer/songwriter has also opened up about a new love in his life that has defied all the odds. In a season finale cliffhanger, Alsina talks in circles about a special someone that has really changed things for him. August says that love showed up for him “in a new way.” He admits that this person has been teaching him how to heal and open up, and he wants to share them with the world. “it defies all the constructs that one would say love is supposed to be or love should love like.” The camera pans to reveal a man walking on screen and awkwardly hugging August before the episode ends.
