Rapper Blueface stays in the news headlines for everything but his music. The problematic rap star scored his sole hit record, “Thotiana,” in 2019 thanks to a Cardi B and YG remix. Ever since, he’s enjoyed popularity as a social media fixture, primarily with his girlfriend, Chrisean Rock. The couple has raised eyebrows for months now. However, this time the rapper may have bit off more than he can chew.

TMZ shared the video of Blueface being apprehended earlier today. In the clip, someone narrates, saying, “that’s Blueface. Undercover cops just pulled up on him.” You can see several men surrounding Blue as he is on the floor being detained. “I don’t know what’s going on, but that’s Blue face right there. And Chrisean!” Blueface can be seen laughing as they pick him up from the ground and walk him away. The person in the video says, “they just grabbed [him] and threw him down.”
You can hear Blueface’s girlfriend, Chrisean screaming in the background. People began demanding, “what did he do?” while the officer closest to the camera said, “we have a warrant, so step back.” The cameraman believed that the officers could have spoken to Blueface instead of manhandling him. Another woman can be heard saying, “what’s going on? He’s always here,” and the man agreed, calling the whole thing “ridiculous.”
Blueface was reportedly outside of Lo-Lo’s Chicken & Waffles in Vegas when 6-8 officers ran out of a van and tackled him. TMZ was able to confirm the rapper was hit with various charges including felony attempted m**der. According to TMZ, the incident happened back on October 8th.
The rapper, whose real name is Johnathan Jamall Porter, has a history of violent behavior. He and his girlfriend, Chrisean Rock, frequently get into situations, and videos have hit the net of the couple showing off the aftermath of their domestic incidents. Rock was taken into custody in August after she trespassed while trying to run from Blueface after stealing his phone. She reportedly swung on him and his friends and ended up in cuffs after trying to escape in a closed bar. Blueface says he went in to grab her; she was “hiding under the barstools and doing all types of stuff … She gets mad about what she sees on the phone and hit me— boom.” Despite his account, footage showed both of them ended up being taken in. Whatever Blueface did this time around, Chrisean seemed just as shocked as everyone else around them because she also kept demanding to know what he did. Some fans think this should finally be her cue to go, Tweeting, “This Chrisean only chance to run for the hills. She better get out while she can!” However, Chrisean has made it clear that she will always be his rock. Following the incident going viral, the reality star turned to social media with various posts. Chrisean shared a video of the couple three hours prior to the incident with the caption, “Dis was 3 hours before they took u from me Jesus Got us NO WEAPON FORMED AGAINST US SHALL PROSPER IM YO ROCK FORever!!!”
