50 Cent and his son remain at odds following recent discussions about how much money his superstar father paid in child support. Marquise Jackson has built his social media platform on taking digs at his father, much like his father does with everyone else. Their family drama dates back years and does not seem to be letting up. Let’s unpack why Marquise is offering his dad $6700 to spend a day with him.
Marquise was born to his father, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, and his mother, Shaniqua Tompkins, on October 13, 1996. Early on in his father’s career, 50 credited Marquise’s birth for inspiring him to work hard and get his family out of poverty. He featured the boy in some of his earliest videos and established himself as a loving father and co-parent following him and Shaniqua’s split.
The pair only dated for four years, but there was trouble behind the scenes. Thompkins has gone on record to say that 50 abused her in front of her children. When he became successful, their issues continued as they argued over money and housing. Shaniqua accused 50 of using their son for publicity and to help soften his image, but behind the scenes, he did not care for the boy.
Things got even worst between the pair when Thompkins moved her new boyfriend into the Long Island house that 50 had purchased for her and their son to live in. A day after the two got into a physical altercation, the house went up in flames leaving Shaniqua and Marquise homeless. She took 50 to court, claiming the fire was retaliation against her. Marquise has gone on record speaking about the ordeal and how he had to jump out the window to escape the blaze. He remembers him and his mother being left with nothing.

As they began trying to rebuild, Marquise and his mother struggled to make ends meet on the reported $6700 50 Cent paid in child support. Marquise claims the money was barely enough to survive in New York especially considering how limited their options were in neighborhoods due to his father having so many enemies.
50 Cent has gone on record calling Marquise and his mother entitled and claimed that Shanique got greedy after he found fame and felt he “owed” her because she was there right before the money. He began to publicly disown his son, and the two have been taking jabs at each other ever since.
Fifty would move on and start a new family with Daphne Joy. The pair share a ten-year-old named Sire Jackson. 50 Cent shows off Sire regularly, and it is clear he wants to make Marquise jealous. Despite Sire’s mom moving on and dating Diddy, 50 Cent still flaunts his boy and even mocks his mother in posts. “Oh s***, that’s your mommy over there with Puffy. LOL😆😆😆 Remember what I told you the other day, these b!tche’s be crazy. SMH” In another post, he showed off Sire’s Student of the Month, “my boy getting student of the month.”
50 has also shown love for up-and-coming rappers like Pop Smoke and Tekashi 69, taking them under his wing while comparing them to his son. 50 has gone on record, saying he’d claimed 69 over his own son. He also claimed he would not care if Marquise got hit by a bus after his son posed with his rival Kenneth “Supreme” McGriff. McGriff reportedly tried to have 50 Cent’s life taken, which resulted in his 2000 incidenr. McGriff is currently behind bars for unrelated charges.
The bad blood with Marquise continues, and the young man is proving that even in a feud, he and his daddy are identical. 50 Cent is known for a carefully calculated social media dig, and Marquise just hit him with a good one. Sitting next to stacks of money arranged to spell out the word “entitled,” Marquise offers his father $6700 to spend a day with him so that he could do all the things he never got to do with his dad as a kid. “since y’all think $6,700 is sooo much money someone tell my pops I will pay him $6,700 for just 24hr of his time so we can do everything I ever wanted to do with him as a kid 🚦Red Yellow Green whatever color he like.”
Do you think 50 will respond?
