Comedian Chris Rock Shoots His Shot At Megan Thee Stallion

Chris Rock is currently on tour with Kevin Hart. Titled Only Headliners Allowed, the superstar comic duo did a series of sold-out shows culminating in them shutting down Madison Square Garden. They even had fellow comic Dave Chappelle open for them on their closing night. It was a historic showing as the three gentlemen stood on stage exchanging jokes and supporting one another.

It has been a welcomed change of focus for Chris Rock, whose name has mostly been associated with the Oscar slap he received from Will Smith. Rock, who was already on tour at the time for his Ego Death Show, saw the incident triple his ticket sales as people rushed to venues to see if he would address the incident. Rock has been a strong advocate for removing recording devices from shows, but people still manage to smuggle some in and have record comments he’s made about Smith. During one of his first outings, he alleged he was not ready to address it and was still processing it all. However, this past weekend he had put enough time between him and the slap to make one quip about it. While joking about cancel culture, Rock said, “anyone who says words hurt has never been punched in the face!”

Chris Rock has been rumored to be dating actress Lake Bell. Fans might know Bell from Boston Legal, How to Make it in America, The Secret Life of Pets, and HBOMax’s Harley Quinn series. She also has a major role in the upcoming Black Panther: Wakanda Forever film.  Rock and Bell have been spotted out and about over the last few weeks. The pair were photographed having dinner at Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica, California, and spending a lot of time together over the 4th of July holiday weekend. They were also spotted together in Missouri, where they enjoyed a Cardinals game.

Chris Rock and Kevin Hart have been building up to their well-received tour together and showed off their great chemistry during an episode of Kevin’s Hart to Heart series on peacock. Recorded back in January before the Oscar slap and rumors of him dating Lake Bell, a laid-back Chris Rock joked about age and how it feels to be 56.  Kevin and Chris shared a hearty laugh after Rock proclaimed his age. A call back to a previous interview when Don Cheadle had told Kevin how old he was, and Kevin shockingly responded, “Damn!” Chris told Kevin he was not going to let him get another “damn!” moment off, and the guys laughed as Rock said, “56 is only young if you die at 56.”

The comic then went on to talk about the time he hosted Saturday Night Live while Megan The Stallion was the musical guest. Rock claims he took his shot at Megan Thee Stallion by letting her know she should give him a call if she ever gets to her “old n**ga phase.” He said he promptly left after the offer because he did not want to get “me too’d.”

According to Rock, once Meg is done dating rappers and basketball players, she’ll need someone to help her handle all her debt, and that’s where he’ll come in.
