Detroit Nurse Found In Trunk Of Car After Breaking Up With Boyfriend, Cops Discover He’s Linked To Another Missing Woman

Patrice Wilson, 29 found in the trunk of her car.

The city of Detroit is being rocked today by a terrible incident involving a local nurse and her ex-boyfriend. The devastating incident has many shocked as details pour in about the man and his possible connection to another missing woman from over a decade ago.

Jamere Miller, aged 36, was arrested on Monday, May 15th, in connection to the passing of Patrice Wilson. Wilson was a 29-year-old nurse who was kidnapped right after her shift at Detroit Receiving Hospital and found days later in the trunk of her own car.

Miller is said to have approached Wilson from behind on Saturday, wearing a blond wig. He forced her into the vehicle and sped off. She was later found deceased outside the Novi Apartment complex in Detroit Saturday, 30 miles from the hospital. Miller had shot her. Wilson’s family confirmed that she previously dated Miller.

“She was young and had her whole life ahead of her. She was dedicated to helping others as a nurse,” police said in a press conference. They commended her for getting out of the relationship and said she did “everything right,” but was still accosted by Miller. Miller turned himself in Sunday afternoon. Local news showed footage of him running up on her in broad daylight.

Miller has an extensive record with law enforcement, which includes gun and drug charges, assault, and running from police. The incident was categorized as “domestic violence.” It’s the 12th death in the city relating to domestic disputes.

Detroit Medical Center where Patrice Wilson worked released a statement following the news. “”Patrice was not just a co-worker but a loving friend to many at the DMC.” The hospital is also offering grief counseling for employees affected by Wilson’s passing.

The news felt oddly familiar for the family of Bianca Green. Green was a 24-year-old nursing student who went missing in 2011. Miller was linked to Green, and they share a child together. Her family has always suspected foul play but never were able to connect him to her disappearance. Green has never been seen or heard from again.

According to reports, Bianca Green was pregnant with her second child at the time of her disappearance. It’s unknown if Miller was the father of the unborn child. At the time, there was a $1,000 cash reward for anyone with information on Bianca’s disappearence.

The news anchor said that Green’s family seemed split on if Miller had anything to do with her disappearance but remain hopeful that Bianca is still alive and are only focused on helping raise Bianca and Miller’s child until they get answers.

If you have any tips on Bianca Green’s disappearance you should call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAK-UP.
