It’s been six years since Rihanna’s last album, Anti. The album was a critically acclaimed effort from Rihanna and went on to be her last body of work before devoting her attention fully to her clothing, make-up, and lingerie empires. Rihanna became a billionaire in the process and has even found time to start a family with rapper A$AP Rocky. However, fans have been waiting patiently for new music from the singer. In light of her halftime show, many are assuming that a new project may be following shortly afterward.
This rumor was also fueled by murmurs that she is eyeing a massive stadium tour for next year as well. It would be her first time on the road since 2017’s Anti World Tour, where she hit 71 different cities. Trusted sources like Hits Daily Double and more have been reporting on Riri’s team working hard behind the scenes to prep a massive tour to follow her Super Bowl debut. Rihanna also announced the 4th installment of her Savage x Fenty Show, which will be airing on Nov. 9th and could also include new music.
However, the strongest chance fans have of hearing Rihanna again might be on the upcoming Black Panther Wakanda Forever soundtrack. It is rumored that she recorded two songs for the film. Rihanna has been tied to Black Panther for a while, with rumors back in 2020 saying that she was set to appear in the sequel, but that was never confirmed.R ihanna would join Tems, whose cover of “No Woman No Cry” was featured in the film’s trailer. Black Panther’s first movie had a star-stubbed soundtrack as well, featuring several songs from Kendrick Lamar, SZA, The Weeknd, and more.
