Nick Cannon keeps making babies, much to the dismay of people online. He is now the proud father of over a ten children, with several more on the way. Nick has gotten some flack from people who think he needs to slow down. A new report of what Nick will be paying a year in child support puts things even further in to perspective. We know Nick works hard, but can he really afford that much money a year to take care of his children?
As of this week, Nick Cannon may be expecting his 12 chld. The television mogul started his parenting journey with Mariah Carey back in 2011. Their twins, Monroe and Morrocan, are both 11 years old. From there, he spiraled out into several other relationships and children.
Brittany Bell was his second baby mother, most recently welcoming her third child with Cannon. The two share 5-year-old son Golden Sagon, 20-month-old Powerful Queen, and their latest Rise Messiah Cannon who just turned a month this week.
Cannon’s next bath mother is DJ Abby De La Rosa was his third baby mother and welcomed twins Zion Mixolydian Cannon and Zillion Heir Cannon in 2021. She is currently pregnant with another child from Cannon. Alyssa Scott is also a repeat offender. Scott announced this week she’s expecting again following the tragic loss of their baby Zen – who passed last winter. If Nick Cannon is the father of her unborn child that will make him a father of 12. Nick welcomed two other children this year. Onyx Ice, with former Price Is Right model LaNisha Cole, and Legendary Love Cannon with Bre Tiesi.
With 12 children to his name, the next question is how does Cannon afford all of these kids. Stories have been conflicting about how involved he is financially and physically. While Mariah is obviously not hurting for money, a lot of these other women seem to survive off being socialites and models which is not enough to raise that many kids in Los Angeles.
Abby De La Rosa has opened up about driving Nick Cannon-branded cars and how he purchased her and her kids a house earlier this year. Meanwhile, mothers like Bre have gotten some blowback after going to social media to vent about needing help and people asking her if Cannon is actually fronting the bill for her to get a nanny or night nurse. She fired back, saying, “Nick is NOT my sugar daddy. Nick is MY CHILDS FATHER, THAT IS ALL. Watch your mouth when you speak on mine!”
Legal expert Goldie Schon recently spoke with OK! Magazine and tried to help estimate how much Nick will be shelling out in child support once all 12 of his children are in the world. The California-based lawyer says, “When you have somebody like Nick Cannon, who’s an extremely high-income earner, the courts in California have the right to deviate from the typical child support guidelines.”
She argues that the courts operate off not only Nick’s income but also his lifestyle and trying to keep the children in line with their dad. She estimates that new mom Cole will be expecting around $40k per month, while Bell’s child support is expected to jump up to $80k once her third child with Cannon is born. Abby is estimated to make way more from Cannon, around $600,000 and $750,000 a month without the third child she is expecting. Today, Cannon is looking at about $3 million a year between everyone.
