Male Celebrities Who Have Crushed On Halle Berry

Halle Berry has long been lauded as one of the world’s sexiest people on the planet. Other than being the object of many’s affection, major media outlets have placed her at or near the top of their lists for the most beautiful people. It’s no wonder that many of today’s top celebrities from Will Smith to Shaquille O’Neal have publicly declared just how “stunning” Halle Berry is. From being a Bond girl in the 2002 film Die Another Day, to her sexy scenes in Swordfish and Monster’s Ball, Halle Berry has been desired by a long list of admirers. Her many starring roles in films, ad campaigns, and her overall image placed Halle Berry on PEOPLE‘s “50 Most Beautiful People In The World” list multiple times. In 2003, she would finally be placed on the #1 spot.

That wouldn’t stop, however, as the next few years Halle Berry’s beauty would still be praised by outlets such as FHM, Empire, Men’s Health, and more. In 2008, Esquire labeled the then 42-year-old actress the “Sexiest Woman Alive.” This would seemingly baffle Halle Berry, who questioned why out of all the times in her twenty year career would she be now awarded the honor. At the time, Halle Berry had just become a new mother. However, despite the timing of Esquire‘s placement, she said “I’ll think I’ll take it.”

As for what sexy means to Halle Berry, “Sexy is not about wearing sexy clothes or shaking your booty until you damn near get hip dysplasia,” she explained to Esquire. “It’s about knowing that sexiness is a state of mind, a comfortable state of being. It’s about loving yourself even in your most unlovable moments. I know a little bit about that.” Perhaps this confidence and her definition is what has helped to propel Halle Berry to the forefront in the minds of many who admire her. Actor Ben Affleck once expressed that he secretively crushed on Halle Berry for a period of “15 years”. Ok! Magazine reported that according to one of their sources, Berry’s nude scene in her film Swordfish birthed Affleck’s “epic crush” on the actress.

The source also divulged to the publication that Affleck was plotting a way to include Halle Berry in one of his upcoming roles at the time as a means of getting to know her. However, friends close to him that knew of his admiration to Berry wished he would go the old-fashioned route and “take her out on a date and get her out of his system, rather than spend four months wooing her on a movie set.” Her effect also easily washed over actor Bruce Willis, who she co-starred with on the 2007 film Perfect Stranger. The two were also neighbors at one point, and in a interview with Access Hollywood, Willlis admitted that he had a “little crush” on Halle Berry.

Mirroring the sentiments of many men, rapper Dave East expressed that Halle Berry was his childhood crush. According to Dave, though, there’s a specific version of Berry that he’s attracted to. “Like since Strictly Business when [Halle Berry] had the low cut,” the rapper revealed to Elle. “Young Halle, old Halle fire, too!” You can also add actor Michael B. Jordan to that list of those that admired Halle Berry in their childhood!

Recently, Will Smith shared a fantasy of his that involved a “harem of 20 women” in an interview with GQ. This harem would not be complete without Halle Berry, however. Perhaps not as extraordinary as Will’s fantasy, former Laker player Shaquille O’Neal also crushed on Halle Berry. Shaquille O’Neal did a recent interview on The Kelly Clarkson Show where he recalled a time where her beauty mesmerized him while he was in the middle of a basketball game.

O’neal remembered being at the free throw line at Madison Square Garden when he glimpsed Halle Berry coming down the stairs. He immediately had to call for a time-out to gather himself, as he’d started to get nervous. Shaq also shared that as a child he used to stutter.  “She’s the only woman that makes my stuttering come back,” he shared.
