Preliminary application for RBI admission test started on March 8

Preliminary application for admission test for Rajshahi University (RU) 2020-21 academic year will start on March 7. The online application will run until March 18. 45,000 admissions will be taken in each unit. The final application will start on March 23 and will continue till March 31.

He said that although the examination was conducted in written form in the past, this year only the examination will be held in multiple choice question system. Only students who have passed Higher Secondary (HSC) this year can take part in the examination.

He said, this time in 100 MCQ questions 100 marks will be asked. 1 mark can be deducted for forgetting 5. Besides, there is no opportunity for second admission. He said the total number of seats in the admission test is 4191. There will be tests in three units.

He added that each unit will be divided into three separate shifts and the test will be taken over a period of three weeks. All shifts in a unit will be tested on any one day of the week. However, the date of admission test has not been fixed yet. Earlier, the university administration decided to take the admission test in the presence of the students in compliance with the hygiene rules even though they had coronavirus.
