50 Cent and his son Marquise Jackson have years of bad blood between them. The hip-hop mogul has long since dismissed his son after claiming the boy is incredibly entitled and “hates” him. Marquise is a lot like his dear old dad, and been cashing in on every opportunity to mock his father in the public. 50 Cent is never one to back down from a nasty social media back and forth, and it seems he finally gave his son the response he wanted.
Marquise has tried to air out his father several times, recently trying to expose him for only paying $6700 a month in child support. Jackson, unfortunately, did not get the response he wanted from the public, and many people clowned him for being tone deaf and spoiled and not realizing that $6700 is more than enough for many people to survive a month. Not keen to be the butt of the joke, Jackson took a different approach and laid out 100 dollar bills in a photo spelling out “entitled.” In the caption, he offered his father the $6700 if he could spend time with his dad, and do some of the things he did not get to do as a kid.
50 Cent is never one to miss a branding or promotional opportunity. The Starz producer is known to end some of his sassiest social media digs with hashtags promoting his liquors and television empire. In his latest post, 50 Cent announced the upcoming television special titled Blowing Money Fast, a documentary-style series covering the real lives of the people who inspired his series BMF.
In the caption, 50 said, “@lilmeechbmf & @michaelraineyjr know what’s up stupid! BLOWING MONEY FAST 10.23.22 it’s lit 🔥 @bransoncognac @lecheminduroi GLG🚦GreenLightGang.” In the video, a suited 50 Cent talks about the rise and fall of BMF between clips of old pictures, videos, and confessionals from T.I, amongst others. However, fans could not help but laugh at the second image in the slideshow. Right behind the trailer for Blowing Money Fast was a side-by-side image of Marquise Jackson and actor Lil Meech from BMF. Below them is Mecch’s response to Jackson’s request to hang out with his father. In it, he said, “You Stupid @199viq I’ll Take 5 Over There Myself I Might Even Play Some Games With You.”
Meech disabled the comments on the post, but fans were able to share their opinion over on the 50’s page. “no one wins in this situation. I know 50 doesn’t lose, but this isn’t a win rn either,” said one fan. “He should respect his father! Fifty didn’t even have his father and made it big! You should look at your dad as an inspiration bro! Think about it!!!!” said another person. Despite the back and forth between 50 Cent and Marquise, the rapper never addressed his son’s comments directly until today.
50 Cent recently stopped by Breakfast Club when Charalamagne Tha God asked the rapper if there’s a possibility of him and his son reconciling. According to 50 Cent, Marquise is lying and does not want to connect with him. “No he doesn’t. See Charlamagne You would call me. You wouldn’t call TMZ to say you want to sit down. Think about it man. He just wants some attention,” 50 Cent stated.
