Rapper Big Sean and Jhene Aiko Welcomes Baby Boy – See Pics Of The Couple’s First Baby Together

Big Sean and Jhene Aiko share a love story like a few others. Played out largely for the world to see, Aiko and Sean’s on again off again journey had many tuned in to see just where the couple would wind out. Lots of twists and turns have led them to their current place, where the duo has taken the massive step to grow as a family with a child of their own. Let’s take a look at the wild ride to get to their bundle of joy.

The world first met Jhene Aiko as the cute cousin of Lil Fizz in several B2K videos. Years later, she would finally break out as a solo star and standout voice in the neo-R&B space. Aiko’s standout singles like “The Worst” painted her out to be a pretty girl with a dark side which was aided by her story as a young mother who had separated from R&B boyfriend O’Ryan and was trying to reclaim her life.

Big Sean broke out under the umbrella of Kanye West and his G.O.O.D Music imprint. The handsome rapper used his million-dollar smile to score hits with Nicki Minaj and West before his personal life began to pull focus. Sean was engaged to be married to Glee star Naya Rivera long before her untimely passing. Following this, he dated pop star Ariana Grande for a spell, even scoring some hit records together.

Eventually, all roads would leave him back to Jhene Aiko, whom he had already done some collaborations with. The duo met in 2012 while working with super producer No I.D. These collaborations resulted in the songs “Beware” and “I’m Gonna Be” off Sean’s 2013 release Hall of Fame. Jhene joked at the time that working with Sean felt like friendly competition but comfortable, like they were competing to see who could write the best verse. Things between Sean and Aiko became painfully clear with their 2016 joint album Twenty88.

The project showed off their undeniable chemistry, which was put on further display in the project’s accompanying tour. Sean understood the obviousness of their dynamic and told Billboard around the time of the tour, “Jhené is more than just a friend. I don’t know how else to describe it, me and her are just cool like that. I love her, and I know she loves me. I was down to make that commitment, something that will last and be different from the rest.”

Their friendship was clearly flourishing, but Jhene went on to marry producer Dot The Genius in a secret ceremony. The marriage would last 11 months before coming to an end. Jhene would later confess that she took so long getting to know Sean because she had manifested a man who reminded her of her late brother Myagi who had died in 2012. Jhene recalled Sean being at the funeral as her friend and them always being respectful throughout their different relationships. “We talk to each other on a friendship level throughout all of my relationships.”

She commemorated their love with a tattoo of her beau in 2018, but by 2019 the duo called it quits. Jhene let fans know that her upcoming album was not about Sean and that she still had love for him ahead of its release. They would also collaborate on Sean’s single “Single Again,” which she sang backgrounds on. They would partner up for Jhene’s song “None of Your Concern” and discuss their breakup. However, by 2020 they had rekindled the flames and found love again. They attended the 2021 Grammys together, showing off their renewed love for one another. This new love would lead them to their July 2022 announcement that they would welcome a child together, Sean’s first and Jhene’s second.

On November 8th, the duo welcomed their bundle of joy. Jhene took to Instagram to let the world know the good news with some photos from the delivery room. “11/08/22✨💙Noah Hasani💙 after 24 hours of labor, a total lunar eclipse, and while it was pouring rain… he came 🥹 my baby Yoda, my Sani 💙” she said in the post. Sean can be seen in several snaps smiling and holding Jhene’s hand. Congrats to the happy couple.
