The first woman CGDF was Monowara Habib

Monowara Habib has been appointed as the Comptroller General of Defense Finance (CGDF) of the Defense Finance Department (DFD) of Bangladesh. He joined on Wednesday (February 10). She was the first woman to be appointed as CGDF in the history of the country. He is the Chief Executive Officer of the Department of Defense Finance (DFD).

Monowara Habib was appointed on February 8 by an office order from the Comptroller and Auditor General of Bangladesh. He has a reputation as an honest, efficient and talented officer.

After taking charge, Monowara Habib said, ‘First of all, I thank Allah Ta’ala for being appointed as CGDF. The Comptroller and Auditor General has entrusted me with this position so that I can pay a fair price for it. It is my firm commitment to work towards that goal. ‘

Monwara Habib is an officer of the eighth batch of BCS (Audit and Accounts) cadre. He held various important posts in the Audit and Accounts Department. Prior to joining the CGDF, she was also the first woman to hold the position of Divisional Chief Officer (Deputy CAG Senior) of the Audit and Accounts Department. He has also held various important positions in the Audit and Accounts Department, including the Director General of the Financial Management Academy (FIMA), Senior Finance Controller (Army).

Monowara Habib has traveled to various countries including United States, United Kingdom, Germany, China, India, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, France, Greece, Jordan, Bahrain, South Korea, Italy, Egypt for training, seminars and various government duties. Monowara Habib was born on 23 March 1964 in Jamalpur district. She has three children.
