Tiffany Haddish Gives Update On Relationship With Aries Spears Now That Lawsuit Has Been Dropped

Tiffany Haddish is making it clear that she wants nothing to do with Aries Spears. The pair collaborated together on a series of sketches over a decade ago that all fell on deaf ears. Unfortunately, one of those sketches cost both comedians a ton of money in recent weeks as Haddish had to fork up cash in a lawsuit and admits to losing all her upcoming work. Now she is making it clear that she plans on keeping her distance from Spears indefinitely.

Once upon a time, Tiffany Haddish was a struggling young comedian while Aries Spears was still riding off the high of his tenure on MadTV. He spent several seasons on the sketch comedy series and became one of its standout performers. In the Youtube age, he began creating sketches on his own to post online and employed the help of a then unknown Haddish to help him produce and co-star in some of these videos. Amongst these sketches were 2014’s 12 Years A Babby Daddy!, Aries Spears: The New Cosby Show, and the controversial Through A Pedophiles Eyes. The last one featured two child performers who recently sued Haddish and Spears for their participation in the sketch claiming the comics groomed them.

While both Haddish and Spears maintain their innocence, Tiffany has been incredibly remorseful for her participation in the sketch and has made it clear after settling the case out of court that she has no future intentions of interacting with Aries. According to sources close to Haddish, she has had no contact with the comedian in a long time and plans to keep it that way. “I don’t talk to him,” she said directly to TMZ when they questioned her outside LAX.

Haddish went on to reveal that while everything has been settled, it left her career in shambles. “I lost everything,” she said. “All my gigs, gone. Everything gone. I don’t have no job. I don’t have no job, bro.” The family released a statement following the settlement saying that they “now know that (Haddish) would never harm me or my brother or help anyone else do anything that could harm us.”
