Many celebrities have been accused of hiding secret children.
The reasons are everything from their fear the kids will negatively impact their careers or their desire to not be associated with the rumored partner. One of the wildest secret child pairings comes from a woman claiming she was conceived by Denzel Washington and Phylicia Rashad.
“So my name is Trania, and I am the biological daughter of Denzel Washington and Phylicia Rashad,” the woman said from her car. “After all I’ve been through, I’m ready to tell the truth.” Tania said that her “parents” wanted to keep her a secret from the world and left her to be raised by an aunt. She claims she is tired of being quiet and wants to speak out about her famous folks. “My kids deserve to know the truth. The world deserves to know the truth.”
She claims that she spoke with both of her parents last week and was blocked after she revealed her plans to come forward. Neither Denzel of Phylicia have responded to the girl. She is not the first person to claim famous parents abandoned her. Janet Jackson has fought rumors for years that she hid a baby in the ’80s. Morris Chestnut has also battled rumors of hiding a child after an ex-girlfriend lied to him about fathering her child. She raised the boy to believe Chestnut was his father despite a paternity test proving he was not.
